Scottville Main Street Music Festival

I am one of the chairs of the Scottville Main Street Music Festival, scheduled for Aug. 9 in downtown Scottville. The music festival will take place in downtown Scottville and will feature locally-grown performers. We already have several performers booked but are looking for suggestions.

If you are interested in joining our committee, we meet Wednesday, April 16, 7:30 a.m. at the North Country Cafe in Scottville. The music festival is a project of the Scottville Main Street program.

Hi, Rob,

Not sure what kind of music you're looking for, but if you are free on June 21 - attend the Spirit of the Woods music festival in Brethren. These folks have been putting this event on since 1978 - and they are great people so I am sure they would be glad to share their ideas. The Main Street Music Festival for Scottville is a great idea - good luck!!

Eric Engblade with or without his band Drake would be a great addition. :) Of course, I'm his mother..but really if he can make it, he'd be wonderful. His website, with music, is http://www.myspace.com/draketheband. Bob might also be willing to play, you'd have to ask him.
