I think the perch problem goes back to the DNR allowing a 50 fish limit. I've heard many stories about people catching their limit and then going back for more. It's no wonder there aren't perch in big numbers any longer. Salmon fishing is still pretty strong. I saw in the LDN that they caught more lake trout at the tournament this year than last.

Thanks for the input. and the fish report, we live right next to a river with cut throught trout. which taste very good. we live in washington state. we are originally from ludington mich.
