Best of.................

Hi all,

I am back home for the Summer...maybe longer! So I am looking for a best of list. As in the best place for a pedicure, haircut/color, burrito, burger, steak, biking/hiking trail..you get the idea right? Maybe I've been too long in the big city where this is an annual competition and aside from my general curiousity ya'll will be helping me out!

Thanks!
Kim

It's probably best to take all these recommendations with a grain of salt, or dash of hot sauce, as the case may be.

Shears Coiffures is the best for cut and color, Gail or Angie are the Best!!!
The Grand Hotel has by far the best hand patted burgers, homemade soups, and awesome mexican food, made by scratch daily, not GFS out of a package. Dave and Michele take geat pride in the food they offer to their customers.
The state park is awesome for hiking and the trails and on the way great beaches.

gotta love the grand for a good burrito!

For hair I recommend Shears Coiffures ( spelling sorry) all the ladies there are talented
For overall food I have to recommend Old Hamlin Restaurant in downtown Ludington
I haven't tried the Mexican place yet but I love the Grands wet burritos
And I would recommend "getting lost" at the State Park soon because it feels like you are in a whole other world when you are there, so peaceful.
For Biking I love to ride the trails down at the Hart bike trail that goes on for a very long time, even the kids love it, and you can stop along the way at different places.
Just my opinions so use them as you will :)

The Blu Moon has the best white chili in town. It's amazing! They also have the best salads...all so unique. Spanky's has great pizza and I recommend the looking glass for haircuts!

Have a great summer everyone!

It really is difficult to pinpoint one place that is "the best at anything. I've had wonderful experiences at John's European Cafe. His soup, salads, and baked goods are all delicious. Ye'All Come Back and Kuntry Kupboard both serve great, just like Mom-used-to make food.

Well I prefer Brandi's on James as for hair. I do my own nails.
As far as food Sportmans in Ludington and LaFiesta is FAR better then ANY mexican food!!!!
Brown Bear in Pentwater has the BEST burgers.
Biking is anywhere along the beautiful lakeshore. Trails out east are good for riding, hiking the best is the state park!
