No Luck keepin' a Starbucks

I recieved confirmation from a Starbuck's employee that the store is CLOSING! No confirmed date but ...... there goes the best dark, strong cup of coffee in town. Anybody up emailing and/or calling Starbucks and seeing if we can stave off the closing?

I am disappointed that Starbuck's is closing but to be honest I didn't I didn't think it would last as long as it did.
I think that they should have considered putting in a Dunkin' Donuts instead of Starbuck's as they seem to do a better business in a vacation area and the smaller communities. I know I would appreciate one and my family would too when they come up from Illinois on vacation.
That, OR some fun locals could figure out how to make a mean donut and make Ludington's own version of a non-chain eatery. :) Too many chains, too many chains! (Everyone join in now)
Hey I heard that Mcdonalds Bakery is for sale, someone could maybe use that?
ANDY, i agree!!
too many chains, too many chains, too many chains!!
Keep coming in to the blu moon, we LOVE seeing your face there!!
:D
Well, I'll keep coming jessie. I love it in there. Do you work there?
yeah ;)
That's why i'm sooo passionate about it!!
If you like bitter over roasted coffee Starbucks is for you.
THANK YOU!!
i agree :]
I always found the best tasting and best priced coffee anywhere is brewed... in my own coffee pot!

And... I can choose the boldness that I want!

Now, if someone wants to start a discussion about who serves the best micro brews in the area, I'm there!!!! lol
Say what you like about the coffee.. but Starbucks is supposedly a great company to work for. They pay relatively well and benefits are available for part time workers. Coffee or no coffee this is a business that will be missed by Mason County.
