Accident

Has anyone heard of an accident that happened Saturday in Grand Haven? A car was rear-ended and the driver died. They have posted the name of the driver as Denise Parson, who I believe is Denise Genung from MCE. She died on Sunday, but so far there has not been any obituary in any paper (GR, GH, LDN, Muskegon). Does anyone have any idea?

Unfortunately it was our Denise. Our classmate was taken away from us far too early in life and will forever be remembered as a great classmate and teammate to us all. I remember so many things about being with her on the field and on the courts and off them as well- all of them good times. I miss her already, knowing I won't meet up with her at the ballpark in Scottville at a softball tournament of some sort so we can catch up on the year that has past since we last saw each other there.
As for Mom G., Debbie, Kristin, Mike and their families I am so sorry we lost a great person and friend. You and Denise have been in my thoughts and prayers since hearing of this terrible loss to your family and our MCE family as well.
