I wish to encourage folks to consider applying for the Citizen’s Police Academy. Although I already had considerable background in law enforcement, I went through a citizen’s program a few years ago and learned a lot. If nothing else, I heard firsthand how other citizens view law enforcement, which led me to be a stronger advocate of additional resources for law enforcement. The educational experience will yield dividends to all who attend. Bob Woody, PhD, JD
