As usual I am up at 6:30; I gather my computer, my phone connector and list of pictures I want to send. (I found it easier if I select the pictures I want to send the night before.) I arrange the chairs in front of the stove; one to sit on the other to rest my feet on so the computer will be easier to work with on my lap, plug in to the phone line, grab a cup of coffee, that Ken has already made, sit with my polar bear flannel pajamas on and send you my blog. The sun is shining brightly, it is a little cool out but who cares. Today is my day off. I have a very busy day planned. I got a call from Christy around 7:30 am, it was evening in Australia. Good to visit with her until I lost my signal.
I started out my day by getting a massage, how absolutely marvelous it was, by the time that was finished there was not a tense muscle in my body.

Lighthouse, Wed. May 7, 2008

The sky is cloudy; we had a storm in the night. It blew in and was over within 30 min. It would remain cloudy all day until about 5pm when the sun came out. It would stay out until sunset. It was cool but not cold.
Let me get this out of the way, I really botched my visit with Jack Ebling on the radio tonight. Sorry Jack, my fellow keepers were misbehaving and threw me off my mark. You and I both know I can do better. I am very sorry.

It is cloudy this morning; we are to have rain on and off. Once again the weather man was wrong. The clouds cleared a little and so I decided to go for a short walk, OK more like take pictures walk around the lighthouse. By the time I went outside the sun was shining.
