She'll bring her ball to the hens all day long and then hide behind me when the roosters chase her.
I put my dogs in the box with my chicks and ducklings every day since the day they hatched, hoping that the fowl would learn not to run from dogs (so they wouldn't become both tasty AND fun). And, my dogs eventually learned that chickens were boring (it helped that my pointer mix was only six months old and sick with parvo when I started with the birds).
They're such charaters.
I guess my wife did know about Monkeyshines Kennels, and she had checked them out when we were looking for a pup. I wanted one with a ticked body and a brown head, and I don’t think they had any pups at the time we were looking. We found Mocha at Manitee Kennels in Fenton MI.
I love the pic you posted of all the little GSP pups lined up, they’re so cute, must of been hard picking one out of the litter. We found Mocha at Manitee Kennels in Fenton MI. Once you have a GSP you’ll always have a GSP.
