I am fighting to end the negative outcomes of the family court system for profit. The courts profit from federal funds to rip our families apart and it needs to end.

I stand on both sides of the fence here! I havve a husband who has two young teen-age sons, they live 4 hours away. In the beginning we were suppose to get them every other weekend, now its whenever the mother feels she has time. The momis remarried, preg with twins and the poor boys are stuck. But I on the other side wish my boys father's right were ripped right away from him. He is a dead-beat, empty promise, control freak, who thinks only about himself and not his kids. My husband is more of a father then their dad and they know it. Its always a kicking, screaming fit and they are only 8 and 10! Best of luck with your ride, love the idea!

Children certainly do need BOTH parents which is what I thought your site promoted. I looked a little deeper andit's a fathers activist site. neat. There are aspects of life that children get from both their mother and their father. I am not sure if you are upset because you lost a custody battle, if so I am sorry. I am in a situation where we share our daughter and it seems to work well for her and us (well most of the time...lol). I just wish you would stop bringing people in on false pretenses. Custody is complex. There is no one solution, every situation is different. Please take that into consideration.

As a mother without physical custody, I agree. A judge in another county, who it is proven sides with fathers 80% of the time, allows me to see my son around a hundred days a year. I am thankful for every moment. And just so everyone knews, there were never any problems--I am a great mother--my son simply stated he liked the school there and never gone anywhere else. When we went back and he was nearly 13 years old and told them he wanted to live with his Mom, they saw no reason to change the situation.
