Ludington Talks Standards
Ludington Talks is a feature of Shoreline Media, Inc. and is intended as a social gathering place to share photos, videos, life experiences and to engage in thoughtful discussions about issues of the day. In addition to the terms of service found at the bottom of each page of this website, the following Ludington Talks standards are to be observed:
• Please keep your posts polite and in good taste
• Profanity is prohibited
• Nude or nearly nude photography and/or artwork is prohibited
• Artwork, photography and digital manipulations that are graphic in nature are prohibited
• Personal attacks against individuals are prohibited
• Supplying a false email address is prohibited
• Harassment of individuals is prohibited
• Remarks seeking to inflame, rather than inform or convey opinion, will be deleted
• Remarks libeling persons or organizations will be deleted
• Reposting of material deleted by Ludington Talks administrators is prohibited
Ludington Talks administrators will respond to complaints from members and viewers, which may include deleting posts and/or banning posters. Ludington Talks administrators reserve the right to delete any posts or discussions and/or ban any posters.

Free advertising posts on Ludington Talks are prohibited. Paid advertising positions and links back to businesses are available at affordable rates. Advertising is anything you post to attract customers to your business or to an item you want to sell, barter or trade. Unpaid advertising and marketing posts will be deleted.
Blog posts to raise funds for a genuine charity, and only for charity, are acceptable. Do not, however, mix advertising and charity (as in “a portion of the proceeds will be donated ….”). That’s still advertising and Ludington Talks has ad positions available for such efforts.
