Bikers have to do something in the winter to ward of the insanity, how about coming out this saturday for the first annual Urban Adventure Run, teams of two will be given clues to six checkpoints in and around downtown. They'll have to navigate between the CPs, punch their passport, and get back to the finish line first in order to win one of several fabulous prizes. More info at

Hey Ludington Bikers, I havn't been doing much biking lately because I've been building a boat. Now that it is done I'll be sailing till the weather improves for skiing. I think this group should be renamed bikers, runners, skiers. Anyways, here are a few pic of the boat.

All you people with road bike should plan on riding the M.A.D ride on August 16th. They have four scenic routes of different lengths. 14 mile, 26 mile, 62 mile and 100 miles. The best part is that it starts in Ludington this year, at the new United Methodist church on Bryant Rd. It is for a good cause. Applications can be picked up at Trailhead Bike Shop.

It's always a good time at the lodge. Don't worry too much about pace. We all go at our own and end up at the same spot, eventually...

I was right. Timber Creek it is. So for all the members of this group, here is an open invitation to join us for a Wednesday night ride. It's an out and back ride so you can ride 20 miles or you can ride two. Mostly it's important just to come out. Don't worry if this is your first time biking, although for this trail you're going to want a bike that has at least a front shock. Call Jeff at the bike shop if you want directions or more info.
