The peanut gallery is playing games again mason yes it was posted. The MO of these folks are to post a derogatory comment in the response section of a thread, so LT has to delete it. Then they come up and play the "what happened" game... real class acts they are. I hope someone in high places is paying attn this is why your forum numbers are spiking down.
It seems to make some feel better if they can mock others but they don't realize they make themselves look foolish in the process.
The only way they can be stopped is what is done at other sites.
At some sites all posts and topics are screened before being allowed on display. Responses are also screened.
Other sites take key words and automatically ban a post or thread if it has those words in it.
At another site, they just ban all posts from a certain computer & server.
Some require (and investigate before allowing a new member to participate) personal address information too. It's kept private, but some have had police knocking on their doors because of their talk on that site.
LDN is one of the most liberal sites in allowing people to post as they do. It's evident some who can not get along on other places that enforce rules come here.
Where did the original post poof to?? I really wanted to copy the dates times I had just not gotten around to it.
And I very sincerely apologize to the peanut gallery... It would appear I too can become a peanut!!!! TY
I attended the Grand Rapids Tea Party on April 15th and must say it changed my life. Never did I expect the positive experience that I found on that day. Since then I have been actively involved with the Tea Party of West Michigan (www.teapartyofwmi.org) and a number of other related groups. As a result of being asked by a number of people to help organize a Tea Party in Ludington and meeting with others who had similar experiences at the Traverse City and Lansing Tea Parties, our local event was born. Based on e-mails we’ve received from a great many people seeing the various Tea Party website calendar posts this should be a memorable event. Our committee has put together a program that we feel will be suitable for family entertainment. What better day than Independence Day to express ourselves in a manner as provided in our Constitution? There are some who may object to the rapidly growing grassroots effort the Tea Party Movement has become as there are many like myself who have never publically protested in their lives until this year so we are really amateurs. What seems so unusual about these events is the orderly and peaceful manner these parties become. From prayer to patriot songs to citizens speaking from the heart, one truly is proud to be an American after attending a Tea Party. We are all volunteers and this event is truly free as no money will be accepted nor will product be sold. Please invite others who have a love for our country to attend between 4 and 6 p.m. Also, don’t forget your sign and be ready to speak what’s on your mind. Like the old WKLA radio broadcast message it’s time to “wake the town and tell the people”.
I too attended the Tea Party in Traverse City in April. It was quite a moving event. With all of the things that our Government is doing these days, each and every citizen should be willing to stand up for what is right. The new taxes that are coming our way will further cripple our State and our Country. We cannot afford more job losses or higher taxes. As we attend the Tea Parties this Independence Day, we must let our elected officials know that they work for us. I am proud to be a part of the Tea Party in Ludington. I look forward to seeing other proud Americans showing up and expressing their opinions. Also, we should all write, fax, e-mail and call our Senators and urge them to vote against the Waxman-Markey Clean Energy Bill (also know as the "CAP AND TRADE" bill). This bill will cost our Country as many as 800,000 jobs each year and it will raise everyone's energy bills as much as $3,000 per year. Support our Troops and may God bless each and every one of us! Remember, silence is acceptance.....
Wonderful! We look forward to meeting you. Bring your friends and spread the word. Word of mouth advertising is the best there is! If you're connected to other social media outlets feel free to post the information.
